[How long is this going to take? He can see Rei wasting the next hour dolling himself up. UGH. Whatever, it's his special day. Rin's going to sit on the front stoop and wait him out. This is true kindness and patience.]

[WOW he's only gone about fifteen minutes. When he returns, he's wearing a nicer shirt than the t-shirt he had on earlier, with a collar, a sweater on over it, and brown pants. He also tried to get his hair a little more styled than it was, though it still looks about the same as always.]

Okay, I'm ready.

That's enough time to check his inbox, scoop out the network, stretch either tricep, and complain in the form of an aggrieved sigh no one is there to hear.]

[!!!! He's not alone anymore! Sits up at attention, then stands far more fluidly. Gets his grin back.] You looked fine before.
